Radiography Information Systems (RIS)
Background Agfa-Gevaert was selected as the provider of Radiography Information Systems (RIS) to Western Australian Health. The primary objective of this project was to deploy the Agfa-Gevaert RIS for 10 hospitals in the Perth region.
Business Problem Agfa-Gevaert had minimal project management capability in Perth, particularly with the requisite Health Industry skills to manage this style of project.
The business stakeholders in Western Australia Health expected Agfa-Gevaert to deliver a smooth implementation across the nominated hospitals with minimal business disruption. Results CMC provided an experienced Project Manager based in Perth who had over 20 years of Healthcare experience including clinical practice.
The project risk and issue registers were consolidated, business stakeholders engaged on the project and the rollout to the hospitals was executed in accordance with Agfa-Gevaert’s strategy.
CMC’s Project Manager effectively gained the business confidence and started delivering to the expectations of the client and to Agfa-Gevaert. All hospitals were successfully implemented.
