Background
Cerner was identified as the preferred supplier for the PAS implementation throughout NSW Health. Hunter Health was to be the initial pilot. The client required a detailed Implementation Planning Study (IPS) to be completed and submitted to enable Hunter Health to fully assess the cost and impact of the project on their operations. The IPS was the foundation for a ‘go ahead’ decision to implement the pilot.
Business Problem
Cerner urgently required the assistance of an experienced resource to direct the completion of the IPS and to project manage the team preparing the document through to submission.
Results
CMC provided a Senior Project Manager who worked with the Cerner team to deliver the IPS as required. Handover of knowledge gained through the assignment was transferred back to Cerner's in-house staff for further project management and delivery activities.
