Background
G. James acquired the Oracle's E-Business suite to replace legacy ERP systems across the business. Oracle Financials, Payroll and Assets have been implemented and were moving towards Go-Live when the Executive determined that preparing for the Supply Chain implementation would require significant internal preparation and could be facilitated through the engagement of an independent consulting company.
Business Problem
The G. James business has been growing in size and complexity since inception and had for a considerable period of time been using a legacy system no longer capable of supporting all parts of the business. Oracle E-Business suite had been chosen by the evaluation team and it was recognised that preparations for implementing Supply Chain for the organisation needed to commence.
