Background
Oracle Australia is a global supplier of database and enterprise application solutions, related professional services and consulting.

Business Problem
Oracle was preparing to bid for the development of a bill consolidation application for Optus and invited CMC to join the bid consortium. CMC provided expertise in Collaborative Risk Based Testing (CRBT) methodologies, development management and QA processes to strengthen the bid.

Results
CMC became a bid partner, assisting in management of the bid. Once the bid was successful, CMC managed the Development and Implementation of the solution. CMC were also requested to provide fixed priced System Testing of the newly developed application to the audit standards of Cable and Wireless Optus.

The bid was successful and the project initiated. The project team comprised CMC and Oracle resources. The application was developed and deployed on time and below budget.

CMC's Collaborative Risk Based Testing (CRBT) Methodology was submitted to internal and external audit processes and was determined satisfactory in terms of Quality Assurance of the application prior to delivery.

The testing of the bespoke development was conducted according to the CMC CRBT Method and passed several external audit processes initiated by the client. The delivery of the application was achieved on schedule and well inside the financial budget.
